North American Transportation maintains one of the most advanced electronic truck fleets in the transportation industry today. We cycle our vehicles every 36 months to 42 months, keeping trucks no older than three years. We operate International 9400I and Freightliner Columbia trucks. All tractors are powered by Detroit’s Series 60 with 430-hp and 1550 ft. lbs. of torque and Eaton’s Super 10 transmissions.
All of our tractors are equipped with optimized idle, air ride suspension systems, Qualcomm satellite tracking and communications systems, Global Positioning Systems (GPS) and cool box refrigerators. All of our trailers are equipped with Terion satellite tracking systems. All of our equipment and programs are aimed at driver safety and comfort to help ensure efficient and professional transportation services and on-time deliveries. |
Because we do not utilize a break-bulk system, as common carriers do, we eliminate numerous re-handles. Consequently, we can provide a very low claims ratio.
