In 2004, NCSDC named North American Transportation its “Supplier of the Year, Class II,” honoring the company at the association’s annual awards gala in San Francisco, prior to the start of the Minority Opportunities
Trade Fair.

We awarded more than $4 million in contracts in 2004 to organizations and companies that encourage minority businesses to succeed. In addition, North American Transportation promotes charitable events, such as our annual golf tournament, which raised more than $100,000 over the past six years for the American Cancer Society, and we participate in ACS’s “Daffodil Days” campaign, which promotes cancer education and research. We also regularly support the Coalition of Concerned Medical Professionals (CCMP) by shipping medical supplies free of charge wherever they are needed.
